The library will be closed all day on Wednesday, April 23. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, April 24.

Would you like to learn how to set up and use an email account, search the internet, use word processing software, or get books on an e-reader? If so, the Pontiac Public Library wants to help!

Every Wednesday and Friday throughout March Michael and Lorene will be available to give you a one-on-one lesson! The lessons can cover computer basics, Internet searching, email, Microsoft Office Suite, or accessing books on e-readers.

There is absolutely no feeĀ  for the lessons . However, you must register for a date and time. You can register by calling the library at (815)844-7229, emailing Michael at, or stopping by the circulation desk.

Lessons are available every Wednesday and Friday throughout the month of March at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.

Lessons will fill up fast. Register at the library today!
